The Heartland Organization of Rocketry

The Heartland Organization of Rocketry

Members of the Heartland Organization of Rocketry, along with their projects, have appeared on national television programs such as Master Blasters (The SciFi Channel), Rocket Challenge (The Discovery Channel), Extreme Machines (The Learning Channel), Junkyard Wars (TLC), and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not (TBS).  That’s why we’re so proud to announce The Heartland Organization of Rocketry will be at Omaha Mini Maker Faire.

Check out their exhibit, chat with the makers and learn about the construction and regulations of flying some of the most ambitious amateur rockets on (or off) earth.  And that’s no … joke.

The Third Omaha Mini Maker Faire will be on Saturday, April 15 hosted at Omaha’s Do Space (7205 Dodge Street, Omaha). Do Space and Metro Community College, in partnership with Omaha Maker Group, are sponsoring this year. Doors open to the public at 9 AM and the Faire runs until 4 PM.

We are still looking for passionate and creative individuals making great inventions, projects and stuff, to show, tell and teach visitors. If you have a hobby or like making creations in the areas of technology, art, craft, or things for yourself, register to be part of the Omaha Mini Maker Faire at the link.
