2017 Omaha Mini Maker Faire Call for Makers Now Open
Call for makers begins December 18th, 2016
(OMAHA, Neb.) – December 17, 2016 – Do Space (7205 Dodge Street, Omaha) and Metro Community College, in partnership with Omaha Maker Group, hosts the third Omaha Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, April 15 at Omaha’s Do Space. Doors open to the public at 9AM and the Faire runs until 4PM.
Omaha Mini Maker Faire is looking for a wide variety of diverse and out-of-the-box ideas that highlight the tinkerer spirit. If you are passionate about making creations in the areas of technology, art, craft, performance, or things for yourself, register to be part of the Omaha Mini Maker Faire! Registration opens December 18 and closes on March 20.
Omaha Mini Maker Faire displays interactive exhibits that highlight the process and attitude of making things. The Faire is an event to bring makers, artisans, tinkerers, craftsmen, inventors, performers, hackers and do-it-yourselfers together.
We are excited to partner with the Do Space and their amazing facility, as well as Metropolitan Community College and their second floor educational space. The new venue is centrally located, easily accessible from everywhere, and already filled with people, resources and events that foster making.

Omaha Mini Maker Faire is an offshoot of the Maker Faire created in the San Francisco Bay area, which draws over 100,000 annually from all around the world for “The Greatest Show and Tell on Earth!” The Omaha Mini Maker Faire is independently produced by Do Space, Metro Community College and Omaha Maker Group, and in collaboration with Maker Media.
